Frame Idea
I think what I'm going to do is something similiar to this. What do you think? I've already been looking at ETSY online for fabrics and letters. I think it would look neat in my hall or in one of my bedrooms that I have yet to decorate.

Old Frame
So I have this old frame and I'm trying to decide what to do with it. I was originally going to put the 'eternal love' letter in it, but it didn't look good at all with the glossy white paper. Soo, on to the next idea. What do you think??

I found this on Pinterest (my new fav obsession by the way)) via Katie Beugger.

So, any ideas? I always want to think about it for a few days before trying anything, mainly because I'm dealing with antiques and I don't want to mess anything up. I love how ornate my frame looks though, so I'm excited to get busy!

Bathroom Update
So we have made one major change in our bathroom and that is the new shelving unit that my hubby put together and secured to the wall. We got it from IKEA of course. It helps a lot with storage and makes everything sooo accessible. I now don't have to bend down to get everything! Yes, I'm THAT lazy.

My Hubby
Time to introduce you to my husband, ,Daniel! He is the reason I didn't blog yesterday because it was his birthday! We played Frisbee golf, which was very frustrating for me most of the time except on rare occasion that my frisbee landed somewhere other than in the trees. We got ice cream from Brusters. We bought some Rock Band songs and yes we are addicts. Overall it was a great day making my husband feel special and loved.

My Ani
Well today I'd like to introduce you to my baby boy. His name is Aniken (Ani for short) and he is my everyday companion. The name is from Star Wars, but we are not fanatics (at least I'm not.). He was named that at the shelter and we just kept it. He literally follows me from room to room and will not leave my side. I'm embarrassed to say that yes, I do talk to him like he can understand me (oh, come on...all of us do it) and yes, I have my own distinct baby voice that I use. Daniel, my husband, finds it very annoying but I think he's just jealous of all the love and attention I get.

I Have A Lot of Vanity
So these are pics of my vanity in my bedroom...nothing is set in stone. It's way to big to be in my tiny room but for now it will do. Its been a dream of mine to have a place where I could organize my jewelry and put on makeup. I need something proportionately smaller and maybe one day, houses from now, I'll have my own vanity in a bathroom! One can dream, right? Well, I used cheap hooks from Lowes to hang my long necklaces and these hand-me-downs from my sister in law to organize my chunkier necklaces.
I absolutely love this lamp!! :]

Eternal Love
This letter was a gift from my dad to my mom on their first wedding anniversary. It is remarkably poignant, heart felt and filled with hope, love and faith. I wanted to pay tribute to my parents' loving relationship that has stood the test of time. What better way than by displaying this letter? PS- The cracks in the frame are from a wreck my dad had while driving a U-Haul for a long distance move. Lets just say he fell asleep at the wheel and hit a couple of mailboxes. It's a funny story to hear it from my dad. I love how it showcases a memorable moment in their marriage.
I went to Office Depot and had them blow up a portion of the letter and put it on glossy white paper. Guess how much it cost? 89 cents! Let me repeat that....89 CENTS! It now resides in one of my frames in my living room. I love looking at it because it symbolizes so much.
